The value for money at Buchholz Downtown Hotel was great, withsuper clean and cozy rooms. The location was convenient, close to the cathedral and river for walks, and the staff were friendly and multilingual.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with more variety.

I really liked this hotel. It's right across the street from the Koln Dom and the Main Train Station

The breakfast is amazing and excellent, available with vegan options and boiled eggs.

The hotel offers a marvelous breakfast in a nice neighborhood. The building is very comfortable and the room is a great size. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, unlike any other accommodation I've stayed at. Excellent service is provided at this hotel. I hope you find these revisions helpful!

Excellent location, friendly staffs, fresh and rich breakfast. The room is very large, tidy and as comfortable as at home.

Close to the station

I asked for a bath (20 € more for a room with this) and only got a shower. No possibility to change. Guy at the entrance could speak a very poor english : quite unacceptable...

Modern, stylish hotel with a superb breakfast selection. Loved the charming, quiet location near the river. Room wasvery comfy and tidy. Enjoyed the cozy bar. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is close to the city center. Good breakfast. the room for one person is rather small, but perhaps if you dont spend much time in the hotel still OK. If i would not spend two nights before in Motel One I thing it would be OK.

The room for one person is small, was not very warm and TV certanly not as on the picture. The door loked like it was open all the time and you can hear everything from the hall. Its not bad, but for this price could be lower.

Location: the hotel was near central station, Cologne cathedral, the Dom and Schildergasse, and quiet residential area north of Cologne station and one block from Rhine promenade. Spent a nice evening at Cast Iron Grill, located a minute walk from the venue. The room was airy & spotless, came with juices, large windows, for example. Had very good breakfasts with many options...

This hotel is in a great location, right in the city center and very close to the Rhine River. It's also conveniently nearby the central train station, making it easy to get around. The staff at the hotel were friendly and provided great service. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with nice old-fashioned furniture. I especially loved that my room had a bath, as well as a separate shower. The breakfast included in the rate had a variety of jams to choose from, catering to all tastes.

Old-fashioned locks on the room doors. They made a loud clunking noise when coming and going late at night / early in the morning.

The staff is very helpful&friendly, room is clean&tidy. The breakfast is fresh and carefully prepared and served. I was traveling with my 7- months baby: we were really confortable, and I had the possibility to cook for him!

Just the seven, eight stairs to enter the hotel (I had a baby carrier!) And the absence of the mini bar in the room.
